hi, i'm hari. i started english literature, dropped out, and landed a government job. five years in that office, teaching myself to code at night. hackathons pulled me into web3, rust kept me there, and now i'm a co-founder at halosafe in kochi, building safety tools for people who usually get left out of them.

the road so far

2017
books first
started a ba in english literature at the american college, madurai. poems, plays and novels. not one line of code.
2018
plot twist
dropped out before finishing the degree and landed a government job, as an assistant in a tamil nadu office. five years of files and excel sheets. learned a lot of patience.
2022
hello, world
started coding at night, after office hours. first commits on github. first websites, for photographers.
2023
the big jump
100 days of javascript, frontend mentor challenges and a coding cohort. at the end of the year i left the government job to code full time.
2024
down the rabbit hole
found web3 and never climbed back out. hackathons with friends became my favourite way to learn, and i found my people: akatsuki and athena.
2025
the busiest year yet
wrote rust in turbin3's solana cohort. built obzr ai with pawan. made the site for athena's monad ctf, and its launch post passed 76k views. met the athena crew in person at our hacker house. joined exprmnts on lotry. 280 contributions on github.
